The Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) is a project aimed at increasing the number of young people going into Higher Education. neaco consists of the University of Cambridge (including its Colleges), Anglia Ruskin University, the University of East Anglia, Norwich University of the Arts, and the University of Suffolk. Take Your Place is the programme which is being run by neaco in schools and colleges in East Anglia.
Who will process my personal information?
The information published here applies to the use of your personal information (also known as ‘personal data’) by neaco through the viewing or use of its website (www.takeyourplace.ac.uk). neaco constitutes the University of Cambridge (www.cam.ac.uk), the University of East Anglia (www.uea.ac.uk), Anglia Ruskin University (www.anglia.ac.uk), the University of Suffolk (www.uos.ac.uk) and Norwich University of the Arts (www.nua.ac.uk).
The information published here is limited to the use of personal information by neaco’s website; other notices are published in relation to our use of the personal information of students and teachers/stakeholders.
Personal information collected
When you visit www.takeyourplace.ac.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We also collect the request made by your browser to the server hosting the website which includes the IP address, the date and time of connection and the page you ask for. We use this information to ensure the security of our websites and we delete it after a maximum of 3 months. We may use and disclose it as necessary in the event of a security concern or incident.

The use of your personal information in the above ways is necessary for the legitimate interests of neaco in operating and improving its website, analysing its use, and ensuring its security.
